Who's the Longboard P2 Soft for
With years of construction refinement and instructor input, The P2 is the perfect fusion of purpose-specific design and construction technology.
Unlike conventional softboards, the P2 is a fully glassed, high-quality hard board laminated with soft foam to create the most durable soft board on the market.
The small-wave learning machine
Rubber bumpers, soft fins, and a slick skin HD bottom are very durable and make sure any chance of injury is minimized. Because of their size, great floatation, and glide, Longboards can make tiny 1-2 feet days much more fun.
P2 Soft Construction
The Longboard P2 Soft is the first step up from the NSP Surf Wide P2 Soft, losing the handles and ultra-wide tail, coming in four sizes from 8’2″ up to 11″0.
Fin setup
The Longboard P2 Soft comes with a bolt-through set of fins, all equally sized. This setup is called a thruster and helps beginners with directional stability. The fins also bend under pressure - so whether you accidentally hit one underwater or need to them because you want to practise your popups on a solid surface, standing on your funboard - it's all good. These soft nylon thrusters will put up with any abuse you will throw at them.

P2 Soft Surfboard Construction
P2 Soft stands for soft tops. It’s NSP’s top of the line built to outlast conventional soft boards. P2 soft boards are ideal for entry-level surfers looking to catch their first wave.
• The P2 Core uses SecureCell EPS technology, fully glassed in a durable fiber epoxy shell.
• Finished with a polyethylene soft-top deck and HD slick bottom skin.
• All P2 Soft boards are fitted with high-end accessories for safety and ease of use.
• Rubber bumpers on nose and tail and neoprene handles on Surf Wide models significantly increase instructor board control.
• P2 Soft boards come with durable, but easy-to-replace bolt-through fins.
• All Surf Wide and Longboards in P2 Soft construction come with 2 additional fiberglass T-Stringers for maximum strength.
